Course Outline

Effective presentation is considered.

Presentations that work and those that do not work are discussed.

The course is both informal and informative and geared towards practical results.

Objectives

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

• Prepare well for presentation opportunities
• Speak with more confidence and ease to a meeting
• Understand what makes an effective speech
• Write simple but powerful presentations
• Use professional techniques to speak off the cuff
• Control nerves and eliminate shaky voice syndrome
• Use vocal variety and voice projection
• Use visual aids
• Match the presentation to the audience
• Listen effectively
• Deal with questions from the attendance
• Convince the audience of the presentation's worth
