It considers likely markets for non-fiction material and how best to place work there. Non-fiction markets can include newspapers, periodicals, books, talks, radio, and websites amongst others.

The course reveals how by specialising in something the writer already know a little about they could increase their value and income as a writer.

Not everybody wants to be a full-time writer so the course assesses the benefits of staying part-time, going it alone or joining with others to provide a comprehensive service while having some fun.

Time is allowed to discuss beginner level non-fiction opportunities and how a continuing career in writing might be developed from there.
